Dr. Babcock grew up in Charlotte, NC and graduated from South Mecklenburg High School. He attended Messiah University in Mechanicsburg, PA, where he earned a B.S. in Biochemistry. He earned his M.D. in 2007, and he stayed at UNC for residency in Family Medicine, including serving as co-chief resident during his third year. Dr. Babcock enjoys all aspects of family medicine, including preventive healthcare and care of acute and chronic illnesses for all ages. He enjoys live music (all time favorite band to see in person: Billy Strings), disc golf, kayaking, anything that involves being out in the woods, karate / soccer / pickleball with his two sons, and virtually any gardening project (native plants are best!) with Laurel.
Dr. Bean received a B.S. in Biology from Creighton University in 1972. In 1976, he graduated from Bowman Gray School of Medicine. Dr. Bean completed his residency through the US Army, at Womack Army Hospital.
Dr. Jaimita Patel is originally from Gujarat, India. She is experienced family medicine doctor who has dedicated her career to providing medical care to patients. Dr. Patel received her medical degree from MS University, Vadodara, India and completed her residency training in family medicine at MidMichigan Medical Center, Midland, MI. Throughout her career, she has had the opportunity to care for patients from diverse backgrounds and with a wide range of medical needs. She has a special interest in preventive care and enjoys working with patients to develop personalized plans to help them achieve and maintain optimal health. In her free time, she enjoys spending time with her family and staying active through activities such as hiking, yoga, and cooking, gardening.
Dr. Aaron Jarrett grew up in New Zealand and Gainesville, Florida. He graduated from UNC Asheville in 2009 and the University of Florida College of Medicine in 2013. He has been board-certified in Family Medicine since 2016, when he completed residency in Fort Collins, Colorado. Dr. Jarrett's interests are broad, including pediatrics, women’s health, musculoskeletal medicine, dermatology, and mental health. He enjoys learning piano and guitar, relaxing outdoors, and being with his wife Beth and two young children.
Dr. Jarrett is fluent in both English and Spanish.
Ms. Clarke is one of the founders of Raleigh Family Practice and has been with the practice since it's opening in 1998. She is a California native and had the pleasure of growing up on the Stanford campus where her Mother and Father were very active with the University.
Mr. Venable joined the practice in March 2019. Born and raised in Jackson, MS, he received his Bachelor of Science in Biology Medical Science from Mississippi College before receiving his Masters of Science in Medicine at the Mississippi College Physician Assistant Program. Mr. Venable is happy to address any of your primary care needs, but he has particular interest in hypertension, gout, shoulder and knee injections, erectile dysfunction, HIV pre-exposure prophylaxis (PrEP), male hair loss, among others. He is accepting new patients, so don’t hesitate to call and schedule a visit today.
